For those candidates that may be required to enter confined spaces with breathable atmospheres.

Theory:
The course will give an awareness of the Confined spaces regulations and related legislation such as the work at height regulations. An understanding of risk assessment, method statement and the hazards relating to working in confined spaces.
The candidate will also have an awareness of how emergencies arise and the need to follow prepared emergency procedures including basic theory of breathable and toxic gases.

Practical:
The candidate will be:
Shown and be able to use basic work at height PPE
Shown and be able to use a ten minute escape set & an appropriate gas detection meter.
Shown and be able to use a safety line.

This is a bespoke course and dates will be arranged as required


 Candidates should have an appropriate fitness level
An indicator of minimum fitness level would be being able to perform 25 sit ups, 25 Press ups and 5 pull ups easily.
